Getting the wife a new vehicle (buy :usa:)

It was a tough choice but shes gotta go :(

I just want to thank her for all the memories and faithful service.

    I'll always remember:
Going to the dealership and placing my order
Waiting with anticipation for your arrival
The first time I saw you sitting there
    That first ride home
The first time someone I didn't know said how great you looked
    That first long road trip

Thank you girl you've been the best.
    I'll miss you :(

Just like a good dog or a good horse, I will probably keep mine until it dies.

    Why? What were our choices?

Like most people on here, if it's I good dependable vehicle I'll keep it till she dies. I just hate to get rid of perfectly working machinery. This world has become too disposable.

I still have my ole 88 escort w/ 235K, along w/ some other peculiarities, that has barely been driven in the last 2 years since I bought the X. Not worth a dime to most, but she starts up everytime and runs great, just can't bring myself to junk her.

Still got the Mutant - just made more sense to keep that one, bought the wife a new TrailBlazer (it's what she wanted and since I work service for GM free warranty to 60K).

Dang! That's quick!! It took me 3 months to sell mine. I guess congrats and I definitely can sympathize. I sold mine a week ago *sniff sniff*. I guess now I can fully concentrate on my Acura. :D

Don't take long to sell 4x4 after a winter storm. A $3200 4x4 was a steal for someone tired of shoveling there car out of the driveway.

The guy that bought her seems pretty handy, and I told him bout this site. So hopefully he'll keep her running and i'll get to see her every once in awhile.

Wow!! You got a lot of responses. I remember posting about the sadness of seeing my truck go, I only had 2 or 3 responses. LOL.
