Scan Gauge

I just received my scan gauge and I can't find the OBDII connector under the dash on a 2002 Explorer XLT. Thanks for any help.

Should be dirctally under the steering column

Look up under the dash. I think its on the console side.

its just to the left of the hood release lever on mine.
