IMG_20180812_073757223_HDR.jpg Finally got around to lowering my Adrenalin. I put two inch blocks in the rear and took about 4 rounds out on the torsion bar bolts. Rides and drives good.

It's funny the lowered white one looks way smaller than the red one. What exactly is in the Adrenalin pkg?

All of the differences are changes in how the suspension is set up.. I'm fairly certain that both suspensions are the same..

The Adrenalin package is appearance mainly. Chrome wheels and chrome side steps (removed mine). The cladding is painted body color, rear emblem and nice stereo.

The white one has stock tires (255/70/16) and is lowered using a 2 inch block from a Ranger in the back and torsion untwist in the front. The red one has larger tires (285/75/16) and is lifted with a warrior shackle in the rear and torsion twist in the front.

    Hey all,

I just bought an original owner 2004 4x4 from with 38,000 miles. Carfax lines up and based on the mechanical condition I have no doubt the miles are original.

    So far I have:
    - Installed 31x10.5 BFGs on Ranger FX4 Level II wheels (I come from the Ranger community)
    - Changed all fluids bumper to bumper with Synthetics due to the age of the factory fills (even brake and p/s).
    - Motorcraft Gold coolant and Thermostat
    - Installed an aftermarket trans pan with a drain plug (motorcraft filter, of course)
    - Deleted a leaky oil catch can from the PCV system and installed a Motorcraft PCV Valve.
    - KYB Monomax Shocks
    - Removed the step bars
    - Swaped in a Sony head unit with some Pioneer speakers
    - Other general auto maintenance
    - Buff on the trouble areas and then waxed the whole truck with the buffer.

I'm pretty happy with this truck and the utility of 4 doors and a bed is unreal. I love Rangers, but an almost-ranger with four doors made too much sense for me. IMG_20180929_194422.jpg

Just for kicks, here is a picture of it the day I brought it home. IMG_5588.JPG

I also thought that it was worth mentioning that a 15" wheel does fit on the Sport Trac, but it is REALLY close on the front calipers.

Fitting 15" wheels on the ST is possible, ((depending on the wheel!!)) stock '95-'01 15" Explorer wheels will not clear the caliper. SOME aftermarket wheels will clear depending on the backspacing.. Also, I would advise against towing with an ST on 15" wheels due to the reduced space to vent heat.

Went for a trail ride today at Windrock park, had great day for early January. Have had lots of rain so the trails were nice and muddy. IMG_20190106_143421163.jpg IMG_20190106_144242700.jpg

Well, I've been MIA from the forum for awhile, but the Trac is still doing it's job. I did get it good and stuck the last day of deer season. I had to leave it at the farm overnight and bring the tractor 50 miles from home the next day to have a solid winch anchor.

Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking on these forums and gathering information for months and I finally decided to contribute even though I haven’t been able to do anything crazy. This is my 2001 Sport Trac 2WD. It’s fully stock on the outside besides a 1.75” TT to even the front with the rear. On the inside, I swapped the console for one out of an XLT Explorer sport and made a head unit out of a Samsung tablet. Led interior lights too. I have some pro comp series 97 wheels on standby while I wait to get another job (my store closed) and save for 33x12.5R15’s. That will probably be a while though :(.

In the meantime, fully stock parking lot flex shots for the jokes ;P

Unfortunately, getting stuck was insult to injury.
