Well I have got my cowl hood on, but not painted yet... I am going to finish shaving my X and get my fender put back on. Then it will be time for paint. Lowering a 94 X sport

I want to lower my 94 sport 2wd and I was at the RangerStation.com and they talked about using Explorer leafs in the rear to give it a 1.5" raise in the back, and I was wondering if you use Ranger springs to lower an X by 1.5" and use 2" blocks to give it a 3.5" drop. Has anybody tried this and will it work. I am looking for a 3/4 drop using Ranger I-beams and want to keep it under $500. Also if the taper is different on the Ranger, can't you just get ball joints for a Ranger and use them on the X spindles?
