got the right side back togeter finally

then moved onto the left side, needed a new spindlebearing, had floppy stub shaft syndrome

the bearing was less then cooperative about coming out

i also finished my funky little box

and mounted it

although its hard to tell with the toe being as out as it currently is, but it dosnt look like ive hit 0* camber.... i didnt have the anglefinders in the garege, so im not sure how mych its changed yet.

i also fixed my oil leak that i had forgotten about, the oil level sensor has been on the to do list for a while now, but its finally changed

anybody can do a sas, especially since i already have the radius arm mounts id need, as well as set up for bolt in coil buckets for it, im still tryin to make this work

remove the bearing with a slide hammer, not with a screwdriver as i did... i forgot the slide hammer at work, i figgure i coulda done it that way in a fraction of the time

ok ive been neglecting this thread. i finally got it up on a lift tonight to do a post carlisle check over and surprisingly enough the bearings stayed where they belong this year.

speaking of carlisle munk is actually a trophy wining truck

i still say it was due to creative voting on my part and a total lack of interest in our class, but hey ill take it

it gets pricey each year. even with crashing at tara's most of the time, and this year at lindsy and chris's.

an hey, if you legit won cause of your registration number on the sign, well that would be my own stupidity for not changing it. besides, munks a cool ass truck anyways. oh, btw, thanks for letting me tag along on sunday with T and yourself. dont know if i said that or not.

i ran out of day before i got em back in, that being said i have a bit of a feeling i may have built it up to high. i thought i folowed everyones elses hybrid pack builds, so well see what hapens

well the other day i thought it was to high, took one leaf out and it was defineately to low, so now we have 4 leaves again plus overload im gonna finish the rest and see how it sits/drives because i can fun in circles untill the cows come home taking a leaf in and out with the tape measure for reference.

i have yet another set of camber adjusters in the front, those really fancy 2 part ones, we will see how that works

no idea when it let go, nor can i find any of the metal thats missing

trans leak seemingly from selector shaft. p/s box i rebuilt is leaking again (theres a surprise) broke an exhaust hanger, etc etc

I did notice the missing pics. But that happens a lot here. That is a nice looking truck. Glad to see you are still working on it. I'm sure I'll be doing the same with my $250 project Ex in 7 years too.
 






Make sure you torque the pinch bolts for the upper ball joints to 80-90 ftlbs or else those two piece adjusters like to spin in themselves.
 






i torqued em using my calibrated elbow to holy#### thats tight.... wich with me being me is probably like 10ftlbs.....

i took this one a little crooked, so your gonna have to tilt your head slightly, but the back end is actually a little higher than the front end, no more pre runner esq but sag

also notice the new parking brake... after not having one for eons were gonna call that fixed right there

apparently in my infinite wisdom when i rebuilt her the first time i ordered warn 29071 like an idiot. dont know what i was thinking with that one. they have now been replaced with 37780, wich it should have been from the get go.

gonna have a new shop have a hand at the aligament (yes i know i spelt it wrong, read it as i spelt it, because thats how id say it) but not sure when thatll get done.
