It use to be something that only happened once in a while, but today it seemed to be occurring more often. At start up the truck sputters, no CEL, give it some gas it eventually clears up. If I go straight from start to dropping it in reverse sometimes it stalls, starts right back up. I have previously replaced my FPR vac hose, checked for leaks. The only modification under the hood is an open element K&N clamped to a maf adapter. Plugs are fairly new, will be changed, but the no CEL is whats bothering me.

    Any ideas?

I would do a tune-up then see how it runs.

oddly enough, the vac tree was loose on the upper intake. only driven a few miles since fixing it but no issues.
