I have experienced a loud growling from the rear of my truck. Followed the instructions found for changing rear Transaxle gear oil with Mobil1 synthetic with 7oz of addidtive. Noise has reduced and rear outer bearings have been replaced. I am not having any shifting or cornering problems just noise. Does this fix take time to wear in or did I do it wrong. Checked waste oil with magnet and found no metal. Visual inspection through drain hole with light showed no visible damage. Any Ideas before I drop 1500-1900 on a trans axle rebuild?:exp:
