Hi, I've scoured the forum for a parts list for a stock rebuild for my 4.0 ohv.
The engine runs decent with some hesitation and rough idle. I know some would say to just replace the intake gaskets, hoses,etc and be done with it.
However, I acquired the car third hand, I don't know how good the previous upkeep was, and it has 168k. It has been very faithful, and would like for the vehicle to last another 10 years.
So labor being very cheap here in Mexico (I once rebuilt my 1992 Ford Taurus 3.0 for $250 dollars labor), I'd like to put together a parts list for my rebuild.
If someone can help me out with the list I'd appreciate it. I usually order all my parts from Amazon.com (you wouldn't believe it, but they're the cheapest usually).
