Tailgate Mounted Rear flood lights?

Hey guys,
First off let me say I am new to this site so if this has been discussed already I am sorry but couldn't find anything searching the forums.

I just bought my third 1993 explorer (eddie bauer) I have always had the idea of flush mounting flood lights in the rear tailgate above the glass angled downwards for boat loading in the dark (hitting reverse and the parking brake is getting old). I noticed some of the state troopers in my home state of MN have some mid-tailgate flush mounted lights on their new SUV's. Anyone know where I can get more info on this? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

If you get those make sure that one of the "12 flash patterns" is solid on. Otherwise you'll be loading the boat under a strobe light, lol.
