    Hello there,

Today I got a call to tow a 2014 Ford Explorer Police Cruiser. It is the first time that I have had to tow one of these vehicles. The vehicle had a column shifter, and it would not come out of park. Is there any point where I could have released the shifter without starting the vehicle? It is always my intention to transport a vehicle safely, and without damage. All of the cities and towns around me have Ford Explorers. So I will encounter this again. Thanks.

    Don
