What is the consensus on gear lube to use on my 94.
I just put rear wheel bearings in. I see 75W-90W and full 75W-140 in the forum...but i'm still confused.
A while back, I put 75W-140W synthetic in my 97 but only because that is what “the bookâ€￾ called for.
My first reaction was 75W-90W sounds light? Is a lighter lube going to do anything for me? Do I really need synthetic on the 94?

(just previewed this is 1K)

I just did this to my '94 yesterday. Best I could tell from digging around was that 75w-90 with 4oz limited-slip additive is the correct stuff to use. At least I hope it is, I don't really want to do it again.
