Transmission problem.

okay so i have a 94 ford explorer automatic xlt, so we found a guy with a 1995 ford explorer xlt automatic that will let us have his trans for $100. He's a good friend of ours. Will the tranny from the 95 fit my 94?

OKAY. Since i just so happened to have so much luck hearing from you guys on this subject, I called around to professionals and got the correct information from them. ( So for future reference or if anybody else needs help and looks here. the answer is no.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmission section. The 94 has an A4LD, and the 95 has a 4R55E.
