Ok ive done plenty of work on my trucks in the past, rebuilt motors, installed lifts....big stuff

But one thing that I have never done is a Ujoint. I hear they are pretty damn easy. But seeing that I have never done one before Im not sure what to do on the explorer

I was replacing ball joints and saw how rusted my Ujoints were and thought that I should replace them too

      Anybody care to enlighten me

      Thanks
      Ryan

I use a vise and a c-clamp and a couple of sockets.Whaen you get the old ones out use some sandpaper in the holes where the u-joints came out of.There is a c-clip you will have to take out before you can press them through there should be one on each u-joint:)

You can do it over here if you want to.
The big vise should hold the driveshaft just fine.
Are you getting joints you can grease or not?
      Let me know.
      Jim
