I still have my 2nd generation which is going strong and 20 years old.
I have just bought a 3rd generation Eddie Baur V8, 2004....imported as a right hand drive from Japan.
It is a very different driving experience to a 2nd generation. My wife loves it but I must admit I prefer my 2nd gen.
The issue I have is that I want to change the stereo from the premium aftermarket Japanese unit (all in Japanese) to an English language unit.
When the radio was removed it wasn't an ISO fitment and different to my second gen.... Question: Is there anywhere in the UK I can get a harness that will connect the US standard male plugs to an ISO stereo? If not in the UK, would it be available in the US or Australia. It looks like a premium installation and the car seems to have three male plugs....I am hoping I can avoid cutting the harness.
I will continue with my searches on the forum but thought someone may have encountered this already in the UK
