Trying desperately to get some new UJ's for my 1998 4.0 SOHC x and all the UK suppliers don't have the vehicle on thier lists only the sizes. Does anyone know either the exact sizes or a model number so that I can compare to what they can supply.
Many Thanks for any help.

Howard,

Just got back from the land of Erich. Not sure if this is going to be much help but these guys are pretty good up here when it comes to propshafts and stuff. I bought a complete set of brake pads recently off them too (£60 ish)

Des Shelley Shafts 01902 771969

They repaired a prop off my Sierra 4x4 a while ago for £17.50!! including grease nipples and when I took it in at 10.00 am they said okay pick it up at 1.00 pm. They also reckon they can supply cross drilled and grooved discs - I'm waiting for them to get me a price on those but they thought around £65 ea for fronts.

Cheers

Thanks Jon got a full set of discs (in stock!) from Motoserv @ Milton Keynes a little more @ £70 but they had them and did the job great. UJ's more dificult to obtain as couldn't find anyone who could look up what the part was Ford number not recognised by spicer. But have found firm in Bedford called USautomotive and they had in stock for only £14.25 all in each. Beware of cross drilled as they weaken the disc grooved is ok. Went for plain myself and boy what a difference stops on a dime now.

are you looking for the FORD part number for the Universal Joints for the rear shaft? If so lemme know and i can call ford for the part #

Thanks for the offer but I think I have managed to sort it out with a specialist supplier of usa motor spares. Once again thanks for the offer if this fails may I come back to you?
Cheers
