    Well, Galveston has gotten at least 4" of rain in the last 2 hours and it's still coming. In a break in the weather I was able to drive home. In some places on campus the water is 4'+, but mostly around 1.5 feet. Many cars parallel parked are flooded. I just went through without a problem, but in the process I think I drenched a few pedestrians and a Honda; am I giving us a bad name? I did help 2 people get their cars out and also ferried people around, does that make up for it in the karma scale?

    I'm glad I drive a truck on 33"s!!! Water up to my rims = water to most car bumpers.

    I think drivin people around is more than enough. Its not like you were goin 30mph ( i hope not anyhow) Not your fault their cars are too small!!

    I say if they are out in the rain, they're gonna get wet anyway!!! So a splash here and there isn't gonna hurt anything... Therefore no harm, no foul so the ferrying people around gets you bonus points!!! :D

    Back in the day when I was an evil college student I would get the pedestrians on purpose because they usually had just walked out into the middle of the street without looking...

    Alec, Don't feel bad about splashing stuff if you gave rides as a good samaratan. The Honda owner probably wanted a free car wash anyways...:;

    it happened here a few years ago, and i just threw the 'strap in the back of the Tahoe (on 35's) and went out cruzin. pulled several people out of low areas and such. if its up to their lower door panel, and their still out driving, then they dont care anyway. God will be more than happy that you gave several others rides, and he could care less if you soaked their interior. IGHO. (in Gods humble opinion).
