Any vacation plans? Four wheeling trips??

Char and I haven't made any plans yet and she gets through with school in one week. I would like to get out of the desert for a week or two and head for a cooler climate. Just haven't decided where yet:rolleyes:

I thought that maybe hearing what others are doing might give us some ideas.

Char and I did Yellowstone 6 or 7 years ago. It was a really great trip, definitely worth the trek up there. Loads of wildlife, amazing water features etc... We drove through South Dakota on the way there from Chicago. If you happen to take that route be sure to check out the auto, truck and tractor museum in Murdo, SD.

Yes, there are numerous campgrounds up there but some are difficult to maneuver a trailer and tow rig into. I'll do some research and see which ones are the most RV friendly and post up.

Unfortunately, the projects at work have me on lockdown pretty much till Thanksgiving on a week-to-week basis so no big getaways for me. So I'm just going ride my bike and rock climb as if 2012 is the last year of planet Earth's existence.

Nothing in stone yet, love to go somewhere. If I can get these Cali peeps to go to Big Bear, that would be great. I know Matt would love to a run up in Fresno, but he's stuck back East right now I think.

Rick if you get up North, and I mean way North! Glacier National Park was unbelievable. Best national park I have ever been to.

Sounds like I'll be working all summer, lots of concerts and music festivals. Mostly here in Kansas and Missouri, but there are lots of dates that I could end up traveling all over the country for.

If there is one planned in Big Bear some weekend I know both my father and I would be interested. We were going to try and plan something up there in mid June and would love to have the EF community join.
We are still trying to work out our schedules.

I'm trying to get the family to Yosemite this summer. I've never been, but my wife used to go there a lot with her family.

I'd be down to ride along at a Big Bear run.

The Big Bear run sounds like a good time. Nice get away to the mountains. I would imagine temps in the 80s up there?

I'll be doing the same thing I do every summer. Nothing and liking it. I hate the heat, mowing & yard work. Fall never comes soon enough for me. :D
