There was a Magna Flow "group buy" on this forum a few years ago.

    heres the link...

I think we ended up getting the whole system for around 450, or something like that, check if it still works.

Blacking out White 2016 ford explorer

    Hi all. New to board.

    Here' what I've done:

    1. blacked out front & back ford ovals
    2. anodized wheels — silver to black.
    3. Slightly tinted front side windows — to make it transition better.

    Next steps:

    1. transition liftgate trim bar in back over license plate from chrome to satin or gloss black. Can I just buy the sport one and have it installed? Or remove and paint?
    2. I have an XLT and I'd love to lose (or make black) chrome trim at bottom of side doors. Any ideas? vinyl wrap? good aftermarket product?

Any success stories would be awesome. I'm in Detroit area and will drive…

PS How do I upload pics? I must be an idiot.

    Welcome to the Forum.:wavey:
There are threads/posts where members have blacked out the rear chrome strip.
Here is just one of them; https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=379171&highlight=blacked+explorer

As for posting pictures, the easiest way is to take out a $20 Elite membership which also helps support this site. The other way is to read "New Members Introduction" thread; https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=379171&highlight=blacked+explorer
The info you seek is in one of the threads in the 'Sticky' section.

FYI, pictures using a 3rd party posting program tend to disappear from here after a while since they are not stored on our servers.

This was last week but I went and plaid in some snow up in Tahoe!

First time really using the terrain management system. Extremely happy with it.

Let us know how the tuner worked for you. Did you just get the tuner or a stage kit ?

Well, i just got my '13 XLT the other day so I havent done much yet however...

I did swap out the puddle lights and tag light for LED's ... Very happy with the outcome!!! I just wish the tag lights were a bit more white than blue

Hoping to black out the grill plus side and rear chrome strips asap too!

What are tag lights? How did you do those puddle lamps? Are they the assembly that costs 57 bucks plus shipping online?
