Just bought a 2003 Sport Trac XLT. Has a rough idle, and while investigating the engine compartment for possible reasons, I came across a small tube that was laying loose on the left side of the engine near the coolant and windshield washer container. The plastic line is only about 1/8" in diameter. It runs up from beliw the windshield washer container as a gray tube and then splices into a black 90 degree elbow with a rubber cone on the end of it. The cone has the same size hole in the end as the tubing size. Maybe it came off of another tube or slips onto a valve or fitting? Im at a loss right now. Any ideas are welcome. Will post pics soon.
