What size speakers would be in my 96 Explorer?

    Mine are all blown, and I have the old ones out of my Lightning that I am hoping will work in this truck. I want to put the exact same size replacements in the truck if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

    The factory speakers are 6 x 8. You can replace them with either 6 x 8 or 5 x 7 as both have the same bolt pattern. The 5x7 bolt holes are on the outside of the mounting flange and the 6x8 bolt holes are on the inside of the mounting flange.
