Just find a sub that has a F3 of about 40hz in a .65ft^3, the lower the better.

    MTX thunder8000 have a F3 of 45hz in .63
    RF HE2 DVCs have a F3 of 35hz in 1.0
RF HEs are at 35hz in 1.0

the lower the freq the better the response in that size enclosure.

Go with the Infinity Kappa, best low end freq response, and good peak power handling, also most efficent (highest Signal-to-Noise)

    500w x 1 @ 2 ohms
run two subs wired in parallel

I've got a RF punch he10 in my q-logic powered by a RF power 250. Sounds really nice. Also if you want a nicer touch, you can go with an alpine 7993 Headunit and a XM sat reciever. The sat reciever mounts nicely on top of the tirewell (just in front of where your q-logic box ends). Mount the punch 250m under the rear pass seat, I also have a RF punch 240.4 amp that runs all door speakers, it's mounted under the drivers seat. It sticks out a little but is no big deal. if you need a good location to mount your XM ant. I put mine about 3 inches to the left of the center brake light (the light that is at the top of your rear window) and ran the wires thru the seam, down into the groument that is already there into the headliner. For door speakers you can use just about anything. I would suggest Audiobann 5x7 plates in the back, and infinity's up front for good midbass. cross your sub over at around 80-90hz and you should be very pleased! Also if you do your install this way you will have a nice stealthy install.

    Goodluck,
    Lance

yes, as long as it is a 2 ohm sub, 500w!,

    ouch
    what did you say?
I said OUCH!! (screaming at top of lungs)

As for xover points, by the type of music and your comments, I would say do about 100-110hz for a little more music going to the subs, but try it lower first then change it if you feel like you are missing some sounds.

    Hope it works for you.

i have a pioneer premier 10" sub that peaks at 800 watts in a custom .66 cubic foot ported box that thumps harder than most twelves. I'm running a boss rev 555 amp which gives out 600 watts bridged mono at 2 ohms. this set up should work fine in the qlogic box and thump hard, and the sub and amp together will run you about $300.
