Magnificent Meatloaf stuffed with cheese (my recipe), real mashed potato's (made with sour cream not milk) and fresh green beans (blanched).

    :biggthump

    Edit: Recipe request-- short version.

2-2.5 lbs of ground beef. 85-90% lean.
1/2 to 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
    2 Lrg eggs
    1/2 Green bell Pepper
    1 sm yellow onion
8 oz block of Colby jack (or your fav) cheese
    1/2 oz Worcestershire
    1 oz Red cooking wine
    1/4 cup Fine Parmesan cheese
    1/2 oz Soy sauce
Garlic powder ( I never measure, just dust the top of mix)
    1 tbl sp Chopped Parsley
1/2 cup brown sugar (the census says to sweet, adjust accordingly to your own preference)
1 sm can of tomato paste

For those that like it a little hot, add 1/3rd cup of chopped Jalapeno to add some heat!

    Preheat oven to 375*
Chop bell pepper & onion and saute in pan with either olive oil or butter till soft
Mix brown sugar & tomato paste in a bowl and set aside
Cut block of cheese into either 4 equal parts or sm cubes & set aside
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and knead well.
Place mix into a deep ceramic baking pan & form the loaf
Push the cheese deep into the mix and fold mix over the top of cheese

Place in preheated oven for 1 hour
Remove and spread paste / sugar mix over entire loaf (just enough to cover it, save the rest to "Dip" into)
Return to oven & Cook for another 15 mins
    Remove and serve hot.

Cool, Thanks. Give me a day to find the recipe for "Grandma Louise's Italian Meatloaf" and Ill post it. Its a easy recipe with much fewer ingredients.

All this talk about good food made that frozen pizza taste kind of cardboard like. :( Think Ill cook up some pop-corn. :)

We had a bunch of Free Mc'D Monopoly French fry coupons, so we picked them up and came home and put some burgers and dogs on the grill.

Then I took some chili I had and put some on the 1/2 lb burger with cheddar and put some chili and cheddar cheese on the fries.:D
