Still out of town for work. Lunch was the same as yesterday. Dinner is shrimp with broccoli, and Caesar salad.

    Made Gyros at home!

Sam's club now sells the real deal. 2 lbs of Kronos pre cooked & sliced. Just heat and eat.

Didn't even have to make the tszki sauce, Wally world sells it. Lol

Just as good as going out, for a fraction of the cost. Nom nom!!

Bone-in chicken breast were on sale for 99¢/lb so baked four of those seasoned with lemon pepper seasoning and sliced lemons under the skin. Baked some yellow squash that was seasoned with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and olive oil.

I usually bake more chicken than I expect to eat, so I can use what's left to make something else. Maybe chicken noodle soup, maybe white chicken chili...

My wife made one of my favorite winter dishes tonight, Maryland crab vegetable soup and a beer. Just what I needed after one of those not so good days... 8A72C48C-D6D9-4599-AE11-1BFFC77C2130.jpeg all better!

Large chunked a bottom round roast, added one packet of dry ranch dressing mix, one au jus mix, 1/4 cup brown gravy powder, 1/4 cup Italian dressing. Baked until tender.

Side was my “Mom’s potatoes”. Yukon gold potatoes cut into fries, heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, dried chopped onion, butter, and Kraft singles slices.

I accidentally put in the au jus packet, but it was better than my usual “three packet” roast. Pry add that from now on

Getting tired of the roast already, so I cut chunks up, put it between two tortillas with some sliced nuked baked Yukon Gold potatoes. On top was some Stokes green Chile with jalapeños. Eh, ok...

Baked some seasoned salt drumsticks. Threw together some sort of creamy potato soup.

Ate four drumsticks, two bowls of soup, and took a four hour nap

Mystery creamy tater soup sounds good and intriguing. My better 3/4 made Carrabba’s Sausage lintel soup tonight.

@QuietStorm17, this is the recipe I used, but did not follow much, The Best Potato Soup Recipe - Cooking Classy

I did throw all the vegetables in broth as stated, but after they were done, I only added maybe a couple cups or so of heavy whipping cream, more salt and pepper, and cayenne pepper. Not exciting, but good enough. I might dig some frozen leftover ham out of the freezer and toss that in :dunno:

Dug some frozen pork chops out of the freezer and made my "Pork Verde". Served with white rice.

Dessert is some cold adult beverages :chug:

    Pork... it's what's for dinner.

    Baked chops, stuffing, and corn.

:snicker: I almost made all of that instead of the "Pork Verde"

Store brand stuffing mixes are $1 with the holidays around, so I have like eight boxes. I always have frozen kernel corn, canned kernel corn, and canned cream corn on hand.

:snicker: I used to buy a few boxes of the limited edition cranberry Stove Top each year. I haven’t noticed it for sale for quite some time.

    Cheesy hashbrown hamburger helper.

Haven't had this stuff in years. I have a taste for it today. Should be good for a few more years after tonight.

No idea what side dish goes with it though?
