Rib meat BBQ sandwhich. Picture unavailable ...
Combo steak and chicken fajitas, with deep fried corn tortillas, and Mexican villas, very hot sauce.
And a coke.
Spaghetti with Char's homemade sauce, and garlic bread. Yumm...
Layered bean dip, doritos, and a coke. Cherry turnover in little while.
Didn't feel like cooking. Mondays.... blah.
Had a bag of frozen Select New Mexico Mild Green Chile Peppers I wanted to use, Frozen Chile | Select New Mexico
Dug around for a recipe, and ran across this one: Chicken and Hatch Chile Stew - Life Made Simple
Mostly just used that recipe to get an idea of what spices to use.
I kinda just threw stuff in a stockpot...
One bag of the above mentioned green chiles
Four cups of chicken broth
Two 5oz cans of Sweet Sue Chunk Chicken Breast (too lazy to cook chicken)
Coriander, cumin, salt and pepper in the amounts in the recipe, but eventually added more.
Garlic power and onion powder (didn't have fresh on hand)
Two cups of uncooked brown rice (had ½ bag I needed to use up)
Simmered that until the rice was done. Added water as needed, and additional spices. Some cayenne powder to add some heat. Added 8oz frozen corn at the end. Note: that much corn is too much.
Overall, not bad for just throwing stuff together. Crushed white corn chips is good on top also. Not much heat-wise, but the back of my neck is sweating
Bison bacon burgers and garlic Parmesan curly fries.
And for absolutely no reason, a Napoleon sammich.
Because here in north Carolina they don't know how to make it
I’ve been making my own pizzas lately instead of going out. I like my crusts thinner than most.
I'm from buffalo NY ...home of pizza and wings or as everyone says buffalo wings lol
I love pizza I'm kinda a critic or just spoiled
This was good.
Roasted marrow, french bread toast, bowl of hearty venison bean soup, glass of milk.
Chinese takeout. I hope it is diabetic friendly !
Roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes with cinnamon and sugar.
Not pictured is the 1/4 pan of brownies I made disappear shortly before this picture.
I'm feeling sleepy. I think I'll go lay down now...
Stopped in my local small bar when I used to work for a few adult beverages. A friend of mine who was planning on stopping there, seen my vehicle. He went to a local restaurant and got a large nacho to go. Their large nacho is a large pizza box, filled corner to corner with nacho chips, nacho cheese, red onion, diced tomatoes, shredded romaine, sliced black olives, and grilled steak pieces. THREE of us ate 2/3 of it, and we were stuffed. The closer at the bar got the leftovers.
Charbroiled burgers sat and sun nights. Cooled off enough to enjoy the grill again.
Rump roast was on sale for $2.99LB, so I made a version of the "three packet" beef roast in the crockpot. Side was Potato Pearls instant potatoes with garlic powder, basil, and grated parmesan cheese. Side salad with Olive Garden Italian dressing.
Bar-b-q pork loin cut into chops
Real mashed potatoes
And corn of course
I use Smashed Tater's as pre-gravy foundation, on roasts, birds, meat loaf, etc.... then that other gravy on top! Mmm...
Zattarains Jambalaya, with sliced beef jalapeno sausage, hot cornbread made with creme corn, cold milk to wash it down.
One word ........tacos
Sams Club makes and sells White meat chicken salad from the Rotisserie birds they cook in store. They wanted $22 for a tub of it. Uh... pass.
Walked a couple feet further down the cooler, and they had 5 lb containers of all Rotisserie chicken legs/thighs, for $4.
Grilled Rotisserie chicken leg quarters, slathered with Sweet Baby Rays, sweet & spicy BBQ sauce.
Prep.... Go to Sams Club, stand in line, pay, and find your ride home.
Cook... 10 mins on the BBQ grill, flipping once after 5 miins, Slap on the sauce, remove, hand to face, & Nom Nom Nom.
Clean... Yo face yo, it's saucy!!
I had chicken warped in bacon grilled with you guessed it sweet baby rays bbq sauce
Taco John's. It's their Taco Tuesday®, so hard shells, soft shells, or bean burritos are $1.14 each.
Another reverse sear steak, only this time, a big fat 20 oz NY strip.
I rubbed it with salt, steak seasoning, garlic powder, and drizzled it with honey, and is currently slow cooking in the oven now.
