So far, this is all I have.... no VIN as per Seni or my dealer... Nobody can tell me anything...

Anyone had an experience that took this long or hear of it taking this long for anyone????

It is now nearing the 7 week mark when I was originally told I'd have my car in 6 - 8 weeks...

I thought it would be nice to see a list, all in one place of everyone's status. Who has their car, who's still waiting, etc. I'm hoping I'll get a little bit of encouragement by seeing that many people actually did get their car because I'm starting to feel like we'd get our car quicker if we "re-order." So, here's our status...

That is Fantastic man. I ordered the week before and still nothing. My salesman did say that they just a some allotments for explorers, so I'm hoping that next week I'll hear at least something.

I have family coming in on May 3rd. Looks like we'll be cramming everyone into our two cars. My wife says the dealer has promised us a Flex as a loaner. I'll believe it when I see it. I thought we ordered far enough out to have the Explorer by the time my family arrived.

It's at the dealer. 3 months! I know it's not a record, but it's still long enough to make it anti-climactic. Not sure I can get the loan process completed to pick up tonight. We'll see if the dealer has a better interest rate than our bank.

Just received update. Ordered on 4/8; and no VIN. I'm hoping eventually I'll at least get a VIN #. I've noticed where some have had to wait 1 month, and then others waited only 1 to 2 weeks. I think I read in one of these replys that VIN #s come out on Thursdays, so maybe Friday the 13th, I hear some good news. Good think I'm not superstitious.

Dealer has been fantastic - so has Seni. Funny thing is, a buddy of mine and I ordered our Ex's the same day from the same dealer. Per the preview report, his will schedule for a build date tomorrow, but mine will wait until next week to be scheduled. Just my luck!

Oh, well - I have just begun seeing more around town lately, so I'm beginning to get a bit more anxious for the arrival date!!

Dealer just told me to expect production the week of May 23. No VIN yet, but it's moving along!

Around here they're starting to hit lots more frequently- the dealer in Holland, MI has a White Tri-coat Limited, and a Black XLT both for lot stock...

Congrats! I ordered on 4/27, but got my VIN on 5/2, so I'm hoping (!) for a 5/16 or 5/23 build week. It's VERY hard, though, not to keep checking the window sticker site. just. in. case.

Around here, even the dealers don't have any. I believe they're coming in and selling them as fast as they get them. I don't understand why some people get their VIN #s earlier than others do. Is it a geography issue?
