Wheel Bearing on 1992 Explorer

Hi,

I recently had 4 new tires installed on my '92 Explorer. I also had it aligned and purchased a lifetime free alignment. However, my question is this: When they replaced the tires and did the alignment, should they have been aware of an existing loose wheel bearing?

Yes.. They should have checked for slop in the front end. A loose wheel bearing will show up then. At that point they should have fixed it or told you to fix it and come back for the alignment.
