I'm thinking of upgrading the radio in my F250 Superduty (2001, if that helps any..)

    It the factory am/fm/CD/cassette setup.

I want to find a unit that has:

    1) MP3 playback. Not just from CD's, but from DVD's too.
    2) XM radio ready, if not already in it.

    Any hints? Tips? Suggestions welcome!

As far as I've seen there are no HUs that actually have XM or Sirius tuners inside them, they are just satellite radio ready for a direct connect to an external satellite radio tuner. I would look at alpine or Kenwood Excelon.

Yeah hes right. I would think Alpine also.
