which transfer case

well it finally went. now i'm in need of a new transfer case, but i dont know which one i need. does anyone know how i can find out? i have two different types listed one is id-f57a-7a195-ca and id-67a-7a195ra. my truck is a 96 4.0 v6. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Get under your vehicle and look for a sticker on the transfer case that looks like this:

The sticker will state which one you have.

I bought a ford 4.0 v6 engine and transmission that has the same transfer case.
I want to know if there is a other transfer case that wil fit on that transmission but the front prop shaft must be on the driver side.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
