hey everyone,
been looking on here for a while but i haven't been able to find any answers. i have a 2004 explorer 4.0 with just over 180k, at WOT i get clouds of white smoke and a nasty burning smell. i have a slight oil leak coming from the drivers side of the engine bay. now i am not sure that those two are connected but i figured that i would mention it, also the tip of my exhaust has been slowly turning black.
if anyone could point me in some kind of a direction before i take it to the mechanic? really don't want to start off with his thousand dollar minimum again
