I want to get 31x13.50-15 tires. What kind of rims with backspacing is recommended? Currently I have a 3 inch body lift.

Good luck turning those on the front without rubbing. You're gonna need some trimming, and at least 3.5" backspacing, probably on 15x10 rims.

What kind of trimming is involved? I'm going to take the plunge quickly so i don't back out of this.

honestly I don't know, but you'll probably need a bunch! I know Shaggy used to have an early model with those sized tires and he needed a 4" suspension lift to clear them without rubbing.

Hmm.. If they do rub even after trimming I'll just get progressive springs and add a leaf.

what terrain are you going to be primarily dealing with? Unless you're going to mostly be on sand, width usually isn't as important as height. Width is usually what causes rubbing on our trucks more than height.

Who makes 31x13.5 and 32x14.5? I have heard 31x12.5 by Interco and 32x11.5 but never the other two.

I'm also considering 33x13.50x15 Super swamper LTBs or 33x12.50x15 TSLs.

I think you can get thornbirds really wide like that but I hear they suck.
