Will basic mods from the 3.5L fit on the 3.7L engine?

Hey everyone first time poster here and new owner of a 2014 Ford Explorer PIU.

Now i know these SUV's come with a 3.7L from the mustang and upon looking at it, the engine layout looks the exact same as the 3.5 you'd find on the normal Explorer. Thinking of doing a CAI and maybe a cat-back exhaust but can't for the life of me find any mods for these vehicles under Explorer 3.7.

I know stage 3 Motorsports sells a Heep of parts for the 3.5 explorer but am wondering if i'll run into any trouble ordering a CAI for my 3.7 from them.

I do know that the exhaust system on the 3.7 is a true duel rather than a 2-1-2 so i know i'd have to custom fab that.

Welcome to the Forum Thomas.
Many members have noted that adding a CAI without adding a 'tune' doesn't really accomplish much. I don't believe that Livernois, a popular supplier of tunes here, has any for the 3.7L engine. Good luck.
