Hi guys, i have a question:
What's the electronic injection wire harnesses util life?
Specialy near the engine or under the body, the wires are exposed to extreme hot, water, etc.

I read that some companies built aftermarket harnesses to replace originals, what's the best?
Thanks in advance

Usually they last for the life of the vehicle. :p: ;)

Actually, it probably depends upon environmental factors more than anything - the mode of failure is probably corrosion in most cases. This varies depending upon humidity, presence of salt (near the ocean or in locations where salt is used to melt ice or both), industrial pollution, etc.

Another possibility is damage due to abrasion or other mechanical damage. This can be caused by poor harness routing or even the type of outer covering used (dirt can get inside and abrade the wire insulation).

So keep them clean, dry and away from other components and they will last a very long time. :)
