I have 4 original X-Box remote that I bought 2-3 years ago. 3 of 4 are now broken (right shooting trigger don't work). I'd like to go wireless now. I've seen $29 wireless remote by Catz (I think). Are they any good? Any other suggestions?

      TIA.

I personally don't have one but a customer of mine asked me to purchase and setup the logitech wireles remote for the X-box. That was a few weeks ago and supposedly they are really happy with it.

i didn't like the wireless remotes. granite i've only used one model and i'm not sure what it was but... the controls were a lot different feeling from an original remote and it seemed to lag just the slightest bit. but... different brands may be a little better so.. i just wanted to throw in my experience..

Logitech is the best out there available for X-Box. Cost about $50 each. There are others not worth mentioning that cost $30. Best people to ask are those geeky guys behind the counters at GAME SHOP or GAME PRO. They know their shit and they will tell you that Logitech is the one to get.

Word of caution though. If you're using your XBox on-line, Wireless Remote might not work. Why? Who the hell knows. Some technical reason. :)

Logitech is the way to go. I'd just go wired to ensure compatibility. Extension cables are out there. And by granite I think he meant granted :D

The Logitech is the way to go. I'm assuming you mean controller, not remote.
The reason they are not made for xbox live is that the xmitter has the mem card slots and it sits at the console, the xbox live headset has to plug into this so it has to be near the xmitter. One way around this is to use a wireless earpiece like is found for cell phones. I use the Jabra bct250.
I understand that there is a new earpiece that is cheaper, made just for the xbox setup.

Yes I saw this. A wireless ear piece made by Logitech made for XBox Live. Cool looking gadget. Cost $70 though.

Got 'em finally. Took me long enough. :D

I gotta say, performance wise, there's no difference between these Logitech wireless and the original XBox controllers. Having no cord to get tangled is just priceless! :)
