I have a 2004 Eddie Bauer with the V8 motor. I live in Alaska. Lately, the temperatures have been anywhere between -15 and +25 degrees. My X has the digital, dual climate control thing. I set the temperature on 74 degrees and hit AUTO. It blows full blast all the freaking time. It sits in my heated garage at night and I let it warm up in the morning for 15 minutes before I drive it anywhere. Still, the fan is on full speed all the time. Drives me nuts. The air coming out, feels like it's the temperature I have it set on. If I go manual, I can just put it on 90 degrees and adjust the fan speed myself. So, what's the point of having an auto feature? I can't stand to listen to the fan running full blast all the dang time. Is this normal?
