I have been curious about the 06 and up tailgate ever since ours cracked. Has anyone done this? I remember reading that the tail lights required a different connector or something, but the tailgate would be nice.

Remove running boards. LED up ALL bulbs.

I know this thread's a little old but I have been wondering about swapping the 06+ tail lights on my 05. One of mine is cracked and the partially blacked out newer ones are just way better looking.
