Debris That Catches Fire in Blower Housing

This is the leaf debris of 20 plus years which I smelled burning and thanks to the forum I knew what it was when I smelt it having read the various posts on fire in the blower housing. Notice the chard leaves stuck in the blower rheostat which gets hot at slow fan speeds.
