Sold my Honda for (too small for desert life, we need a truck) my 04 X V6, replaced spark plugs & wires, air door actuator (ticking noise when using A/C or heat), tranny front seal gasket, brakes/rotors, it had just passed smog. I have had problems ever since my key went out. Mechanic told me it was the "computer brain" of my car, only two ABS codes came up (clue#1)and my battery voltage was completely discharged-I'm staring right at the machine and it says 12.4

the starter can you try the key and we will take it from there"...HIS key guy comes out, me and girls were sitting in car and he asks us to wait in lobby--
-WHY? I'm sitting in the passenger side/girls are playing in trunk area
, says his guy couldn't program my key because I fried my computer. Not buying it
, this car has 113,000 miles on it and runs great and besides I had just drove it 50 miles and stopped off to fed my girls-WHAT could possibly have gone out?!
I waited until he closed, had my brother come and take a look= everything is unplugged and disconnected.So, He's plugging in and we are freezing in the car waiting
...I really can't afford this hit....called a REGULAR LOCKSMITH who guaranteed me, "if he couldn't program my key-No Pay."
HE looked at the flashing light and knew it was the key and had my car started in 3 minutes!!
Everything's put back together except a broken hose that me, brother, 2- Autozone guys,2-Certified 20 Years EXP Mechanics, could NOT figure out WHAT it went to.
It's TAPED OFF running shitty/dumping GAS, low IDLE and finally!!!
found it-PURGE Valve CAnister thingy. First time ever at pick a part, LOVED IT, VERY INTERESTING!
took it off myself, plugged it in, a nice mechanic cleared codes. But it's still not smooth like before
1-week Later:check engine light codes: P0171/74+, FUEL RAIL+,MAF ETC., like 8 codes popped.+ LOW IDLE--DID I mention I put GAS in while the car was on?
Found you all- watched a billion videos and forums. I personally
Cleaned Throttle body, did the Vacuum Leak check and there was-ALOT OF LOSE plugs and hoses=fixed,mechanic reset codes.
2 weeks Later- new code =P0171-replaced PCV valve, mechanic clear codes. Oil change/air and oil filter changed, drove an 80 mile smooth ride to "reset PCM", fueled SHELL PREMIUM
STILL LOW IDLE---HELP WHAT NEXT?
