I am absolutely in love with the 2013 FPIU beast of a project car I picked up at a May 2021 auction. My inner 8-year-old is truly enjoying this former Snohomish County (WA) detective's car that was sold in fantastic shape, inside and out.

My goal is to make it juuuust tricked out enough to look like some mysterious blacked-out government vehicle 😂 without getting any negativity or curiosity stops from local LEOs.

COMPLETED: Reactivated horn and rear windows. Removed white vinyl rooftop and repaired antenna holes. Turned on remote entry, added hood switch and activated remote start. Installed new Sony sound system. Drilled speaker holes for rear door panels and added interior sound deadening. Installed antenna to cover 144, 220 and 440MHz bands. Installed blacked out Interceptor hood emblem. Blacked out the chrome hubcaps. Removed center console plate and rear wiring tunnel bar, and installed a civvie XLT console with custom console lighting. Installed backup camera and front/rear dashcam.

ON THE HORIZON: Replace cracked rear lower bumper and, if possible, install BLIS system. Install new AnyTone D578III Pro tri-band ham radio. Install tow hitch.
