I grew up the son of a gear-head. When the neighborhood kids were playing wiffleball, I had a rubber block in my hand... "keep sanding. It needs to be smooth as glass. You are not done yet."

Between my father and myself, we have had more than 25 vehicles, some full-on, rotisserie, frame off restorations, some resto-modded and survivor cars since the late 70s. That's not including the double digits parts cars that got stripped down in the privacy of a back yard with 20 foot tall pines and seven foot high stockade fences.

I finally found a Police Interceptor Explorer that was reasonably priced for what it is and not thrashed. I plan to swap in a full set of carpets and recover front seats.
