New to the forum. You may have covered this before but it has my mechanic and I perplexed. I leave my 2002 EB Explorer at the airport. I come back a few days later. I start the car, there is a door ajar light on. I check all doors, open & shut them. The light goes out. I leave the parking spot and the door locks go up and down, the dome light comes on and I get chimes. Doesn't happen all the time. Very infrequent as my mechanic kept my car over a week, drove it and could not get it to do what I told him it did to me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Don't want the wife to be stranded if she drives it. One time the dome light did not go off and it drained the battery. Help!
