This is my second X. I bought this X to build an expedition rig. I have a roof top tent that cost more than the X. I will do a high quality build for good performance in all conditions including good highway performance for long trips. I plan to do a stage 2 JD lift with 31 10.50 tires, my own bumpers, complete self recovery stuff, front locker- Aussie worked really well on my last X, beef up the LS in back for good highway performance, maybe re-gear to 4.11's. I want roll out cabinets in back, good LED bar on the roof rack, swing out spare tire, on board air, concealed protection storage here and there, and a slurpee machine on the center console. This will be a self contained overland touring rig. It is a grand plan, we'll see if it comes to completion.
