The following thread identifies some alternatives and may save you a lot of money: Air inlet hose fix?

Your 1999 does not have VIS and is like my 2000.

Streetrod, could I use flexible tubing to replace that hard plastic, very expensive tube?

what kind of flexible tubing?

The tubing would have to withstand the effects of fuel and heat. When I added my supercharger I routed 1/2" i.d. fuel vapor hose (SAE 30R7) from the main intake tube to the IAC valve. I bought the hose by the foot from O'Reilly's.

I used brass fittings and an intake elbow. It has held up very well. There is no vacuum between the port upstream of the throttle body and the IAC valve.

2 things, Street.

1) Day-am! A supercharger?

2) On far left side of the photo, do I see a tin foil/rubber band fix? I mean, you got $$$ for a supercharger......but not a proper cap? :D

A/C manifold

Because of my custom intake for the M90 I had to remove the A/C manifold between the drier and the compressor.

Until I can get a custom tube/hose fabricated I just covered the port with plastic and a tie to keep out dirt.

Later I replaced the plastic with aluminum foil. I'm missing my A/C this summer but custom A/C tubing is expensive and I don't want to get a replacement manifold fabricated until I'm certain of my long term configuration.
