What's your explorer looking like today

I haven't driven my '01 EB since February. I think I've driven it maybe 4 times since last summer. It's siting in my basement garage on a trickle charger. I think I'll get it out tomorrow because I need to use it as a second anchor for my ST's engine stand so that I can torque my heads. It looks like the below pic from last summer but with a thin coating of dust.

Installing some load adjustable shocks in rear this weekend, after that it’s just swapping the transfer case and she will be good to go. I did a bunch of the annoying jobs when I was off work for a week.

- spark plugs, wires
- Broken blend door
- driver side door latch
- Parking brake shoes

It’s almost has 100,000 miles and nobody rust except for rear bumper. Trying to find a junk yard one or new....

Brem95, looks good, your Sport looks like my wife's Sport. I installed the Monroe load carrying shocks in the rear of her Sport also.

Dark blue is a ‘98 XLT, 305k mi.

-Engine out of 2011 Ranger
-Rebuilt trans
-Pretty much everything under the body minus the diffs, A/C, P/S have been replaced.
-Had to rebuild the back after a semi hit me

Black/gold is a ‘99 EB V8, 120k. Very recent acquisition

-Got pretty much the same treatment as the ‘98, except the engine and trans are solid. Needs some cosmetic love.

It helped with the rear end sag, that & a set of the warrior shackles & a crank of the torsion bars & it sits nice & level now.

I have the same setup as you.

Also working so much lately decided to splurge and treat the little red wagon to some new wheels... told the gf If she wants to go backroad camping when covid passes we need good solid rims so we don’t bend or crack one of the originals and get stranded

It’s just relaxing in the Florida sun. Slowly getting lifted. Did lift keys and shackles last summer. Might get 32’s this summer. I spend too much money on this thing haha.

I'm going for the "I can drive straight through bushes (and do) and don't care" look being paint is shot from spending most of it's life not too far from the beach.... as I drive by shiny, spotless Jeeps / Tacomas etc.."4X4's" ... so I would get an F - on this thread.
There's off roading freedom driving a Mad Max vehicle ! That being said, I wouldn't mind driving a mint second gen'r as well.
