My 94 when i go to start the truck it just makes a clicking noise. Ive replace the solenoid, starter, and the battery is fairly new. My only guess would be the EEC power Relay? Cause before i would have to tap on that relay for the truck to kick on. Im guessing the relay just took a shi*...
I have a 94 ford explorer. The heater/Air flow randomly comes on, its been really cold where im at and i need to work correctly. It seems to come on when it wants to. Is there a loose wire somewhere that would cause this?
I have a 94 explorer, I need a tutorial or some kind of how to video to show me how to install the wires/plug to plug into the trailer lights, my truck did not come with this set up so i need to add it on from scratch, I went and bought the wires/plugs, just need help putting it in.
I just took the starter off completely, cleaned it up around the connections, i noticed the cable that goes from the battery to the starter on the starter end is kind of in bad shape. I put all connections back on and made sure everything was tightened down. Still the same, i have the hit the...
When i go to start my 94 explorer it just makes a click noise and doesnt start, it wont start until i turn the key abunch of times, i replaced the solenoid thinking that was the problem, could it be the starter itself?
I fixed the problem, I pulled the correct codes with my dads niehbor, it was the throttle positioning sensor and also the mass flow air sensor, truck runs perfect and the check engine light hasn't came on. The truck has tons of power now. So problem has been solved
Ill check it, but i checked my codes with a OBD I reader and it popped up with 122 which means throttle position sensor, went and replaced that and it still is hesitating. And also came up with:
157 - mass air flow sensor (low voltage)
158 - mass air flow sensor (high coltage)
171 - 02...
its an auto, and like i said the truck was running great for 3 days, no problem up hill, no hesitation when trying to step on it. And yesterday it started running like crap again. when push the pedal down fast to the floor it bogs and doesnt go anywhere, i have to slowly push the pedal down to...
ok i replaced the fuel filter and toped off the trans fluid, the truck ran great for 3 days, and out of no where the truck had no power again and is running like shi*, any ideas? Im guessing the fuel filter is clogged again? So there might be stuff inside my gas tank?
