Will Parts from this Explorer fit?

The second time I looked at it I asked to see the vehicle registration and it said 1994 and the young kid selling it was like " Oh I was positive it was a '97." He also told me it was going to cost $1000-1500 to fix it which is why he was selling it for so cheap. Ripped the part off my '92 put...

Will Parts from this Explorer fit?

Thanks for the info. I won't be able to look at the truck for sale until tomorrow, but at least I know that I can't use my 92 for parts on a 97 now! If it is a 97 I guess I'll sell my 92 for parts as the tranny is on it's last legs :(

Will Parts from this Explorer fit?

Mine is for sure a 92, maybe this one isn't a 97 like the guy said, but they do look the same (maybe not identical) I'm just going from a quick look. If any parts would fit that would be great. As I was just going to use my 92 as a part vehicle. Not looking for any specific parts at the moment.

Will Parts from this Explorer fit?

I have a 1992 Explorer and found a dirt cheap 1997 Explorer for sale. Will parts from my 92 fit the 97? Not a big deal if they don't fit...it would just be a bonus if they did. Both Explorers look identical, only they are different years and different colors.

Should I flush the a/c first or take it to a shop

The thing is, I DO want the a/c. Not right now mind you cause the snows gonna fly soon, but I would really like to know what is wrong with it. If I have to I'll bypass it for now, but it would be nice to know if things are going to have to be replaced.

Should I flush the a/c first or take it to a shop

How can I tell if I have an R12 or R134? I'm not that mechanically inclined. When I pop the hood, what do I look for?

Should I flush the a/c first or take it to a shop

Just bought an Ex and when I turn the a/c on it makes a loud ERRRRRR sound. The young guy I bought it off of said the a/c didn't work for him and he only owned the Ex for 6 months. I've been told it might be the compressor clutch, but maybe I should flush the a/c first. So should I flush it or...

    Help Interior color match impossible?

" in the end red is a hard color to deal with "...You're telling me!! Every vehicle I've owned has had a gray or tan interior, not hard to deal with. I painted the door panel and now I'm waiting for it to dry. So I'll have to wait to see how cheesy it looks...lol

    Help Interior color match impossible?

@Dre I actually found a color that is pretty darn close today. I'm going to use that and if it looks tacky then I'll keep searching for a red one at every scrap yard near me. @CDW6212R NAPA was the first place I went and they didn't have anything close to the color and the guy who I asked...

    Help Interior color match impossible?

I just bought my first Explorer. Needs some minor work like the driver's side door panel is busted.Found one at a scrap yard but it's gray and mine is "some shade of red." Thought I would paint it as I've done that before, but since I live in a small town there are not too many places that sell...
