    what should I expect to pay

    he told me 500, which I dont feel comfortable with, and he doesn't know what happend to it, he said he was driving down the highway and it stopped running. I suspect its a head gasket issue which I can fix in a weekend. I'd feel more comfortable with 350-400..or is that lowballing?

    i have a 1970 mustang and I bought it without a drive shaft and it needs one that is 50-5/8 and i got one off an expo that was 51-1/2 then found another was 50-3/4 I was hoping that it would make a difference if it was auto or 5 speed or 4x2 or 4x4

    Torsion twist and shackles a bad idea?

    torsion bars depend on twisting when you hit a bump, so when you crank them and it makes the suspension stiffer that's because your taking the travel out of them thus making them easier to snap

    they all seemed to be different lengths but the top ones seemed to stop in the block, guess I'll switch them with the smaller ones i put in the side.

    why do you want to drop a 4x4? there may be clearance issues with the differential.

    the ranger has a 7.5 rear and the exploder has a 8.8, so cant i just take the yoke off the rear of the ex drive shaft and put it on the ranger's and then have the shaft shortened? and what about the transfer case, can it stay or do I need to kick it off
