I got mine done!!! In the end it was the driver side hub and as a bonus, the lower ball joint. When i did the usual check, by shaking tire at 9 and 3, then at 12 and 6 - nothing shook. I did notice a completely torn up sway link and replaced it after I tried to shake things around and didn't...

I personally think the Autozone sway links are the best. Not because the material is the best of sorts, but because if you feel like it, you can change your links annually or daily if you feel like. The warranty from Autozone is lifetime.

I'm thinking mine might be drive shaft or CVs. Or maybe the diff. Only because it's more like a rotating sound. I've had a bad hub in past and it was a constant sound like waaaaay. This on is more like wa wa wa wa wa.

No, still have it. I had some guests come over from abroad, went to get them from airport and thermostat bypass hose blew up, overheated. Fixed the hose and added coolant to drive home, but there was air in system. They just left and I finally got air out. Getting back to the noise next week...

I sure as hell hope not. I was just about to remove the front shaft to diagnose a vibration/wobble type of sound comming from under the front somewhere. Read another thread on here and the other guy removed with no issues, still driving.

I don't know exactly, but it went like this: 1. Oil leak from rear main seal 2. car started shaking and went into safe mode 3. Low oil pressure 4. Guides all broke loose and chatter was crazy

If it aint broke, dont mess with it. I had a small tick and decided to have a shop do it. after that, the car was never the same. few hundred miles and motor was dead. had to replace motor.

No need, they're on ebay all day every day and much cheaper.

Thanks. I was thinking of replacing the entire wheel since mine is all worn and torn and figured i add the audio controls.

Get yourself the programming tool. its like $50. Then perform the programming procedure and you'll know which of your TPMS are dead. Why replace all of them if only one is dead?

Anyone know if 2008 steering wheel with controls will fit 2006 EB?

I tried looking for them at some point and doesn't look like mine. mine go from trans directly into the radiator as far as i can see. The only lines i've found were from trans to a small cooler.

I have the same problem. Started after they first swapped the radiator and then motor swap. The guy who did my motor, said I had to replace the radiator and the lines at the same time. I'm thinking it might just be the lines since the rad is/was brand new. Also, at this point i think i've lost...

Maybe when they changed radiator, they let too much trans fluid come out. I'm no expert, just know that trans fluid cools through the radiator. I think I have a similar issue, but i'm not sure what fitting I need to check or add fluid. I saw somewhere here on the forum, there is a special tool...

probably timing chains. search my posts. i tried to replace it and ended up paying double. If you can ignore the noise, just drive the damn thing until it stops. if you can't deal with it, start looking for another motor. rebuilt motors go for $2500, used go for $1500.. just depends on how...

same here. wind noise on the pass side. if window cracked open, it stops. never had time or remember to get it taken care of until i start driving and hear it.

I think most people were trying to swap the door panels you want for the door panels you have. What color is your interior and can you take a picture of yours? If the size is the same, color and I like them, maybe we can just swap. Cause I think I want the ones you have.

Got it done and all works well now. I ended up removing just one screw for the bracket that the 4x4 module sits on and it came right out. I ended up flipping the glove box out and it was all right there and I didn't need to go under the dash. Plus it was a much better view of the work area...

Thanks, dropped by Autozone last night and sure enough they had it. Haven't had the chance to replace it yet, but looked in there and the 4x4 module is blocking it. I'll have to pull that out to replace this thing.
