    Bad Misfire- HELP...

Have you checked to make sure each plug wire is in the correct order on the coil pack? I had a similar problem to yours when I changed plugs and wires and realized i had two of the plug wires crossed on the coil.

    Need some help over here!

If your trans is slipping the way you describe, you are losing line pressure somewhere. A number of things could be causing this, i.e. pressure control solenoid, valve body gasket, etc. I know very little about automatic transmissions, just the basics, so I'm by no means an expert. I know...

    Need some help over here!

Auto zone code readers are just generic OBDII scanners, so there are many manufacturer specific codes that they cannot read. You may have to bite the bullet and take it to a ford dealer for proper diagnosis.

    Spring Over Axel Q&A

About how much does the driveshalft need to be lengthened with a SOA?

    RCD coilover lift

Anyone have any experience with the '98-'02 RCD ranger coilover kit on a 2nd gen? I'm trying to see if the kit will fit my '01 sport. I'm planning on doing a spring over in the rear, and I really don't like the look of the drop brackets for the torsion bars on the superlift kit (not to mention...

    Sprig over axle question

Froader, could you dig up a part # for me on that superlift kit? Also, did you do any driveshaft modification for your SOA?

    Sprig over axle question

I've seen bolt on spring over axle kits for jeeps, and I was wondering if anyone knows of similar kits that will work on 8.8 rear ends. Full Traction is the manufacturer of the jeep spring over kits. I'm trying to find a way to do a spring over in the rear without any cutting or welding...

Serious problems after K&N Filter installed !

Brake clean is your best friend when running a K&N filter with a mass air system. Definitely sounds like hotwire contamination on the MAF.

    99 Explorer Sport Lift

I don't know of any shocks that will help with the bounce, but my experience is limited since i've always used O.E. replacement parts. I think the bounce is just a natural part of a torsion bar front suspension, but maybe somebody else on here has had some luck improving ride quality with...

The All-New Boss 302 Cylinder Block from Ford Racing

How much boost do you want to run? I've seen 5.0 mustangs with stock blocks and stock internals safely run as high as 16 psi. I'm not sure what the horsepower rating is for the Boss 302 block, but a better bang for the buck would probably be a DSS short block. The bullet short blocks are...

    99 Explorer Sport Lift

I haven't heard of any other kits for rangers besides the RCD that fit on late model explorers. My tires are 33X13.5R15. Wheels are 15X8, although I really should have gone with 15X10's with 13.5" wide tires. They were a huge pain in the ass to get on the 15X8's. The light bar is a Westin...

    TT and Shackles...

You should have an alignment done after the torsion twist because lifting the front via the torsion bars can change your front end alignment angles.

Those grey panels just snap into precut holes in the sheet metal. I broke a few of the plastic tabs removing them, so if you plan on ever re-installing them you might need to get a few extras. There's also a little bit of adhesive holding the top part of the panels on that can be removed...

    Need some opinions....

From the pictures it looks like the rear will fit a 33 x 10.5, but the front looks like it'd be pretty close. Might look a little funny if you do just the torsion twist with the nose sticking up higher than the rear.

    Lifted '01 Sport pics

With the torsion twist and rear shackles the ride is noticeably stiffer than stock, but I wouldn't consider it to be excessively rough. With the body lift the center of gravity is higher, and I ditched both front and rear sway bars so there is a bit of body roll when turning. The wide stance...

    Need some opinions....

If you've done a torsion twist and rear leaf shackles you should be able to fit 33's. If not it'll be pretty close.

Yeah...the rear bumper does look a little whack. I got rear ended before I did the lift, so I was gonna wait 'till the next round and just throw on a whole new bumper, or maybe fab up one from tube steel. Haven't decided yet.

Also, I definitely wouldn't suggest trying to mount a 33 x 13.5 on an eight inch rim. It took myself and two other guys to squeeze those things on there. If I'd known they were gonna be that big of a pain in the ass I would have ponied up the extra cash for a new set of wheels. Had to learn...

    Lifted '01 Sport pics

It's 4wd. I had to do a small amount of trimming on the front fender skirts. The 3.73 is just enough gear for any speed under forty miles an hour. At highway speeds I gotta drop down into fourth gear to keep up speed going up hills. The next round of modifications I have planned includes...
