I got my letter. I want to see the repair instructions the tech will follow. This talk of pushpins, I assume they intend to drill holes in the rail not previously there. Not fond of that idea if that is the intention.

I had it done today. Rear alignment I was told was free/included in the recall. If I wanted the front done I had to pay, so I did, didn't have much choice at that point I wanted all four wheels done. I guess there is no chance I could get that money back?

Well I just logged in to my SYNC Software Update History on owner.ford.com and the site has changed again. My history is gone again, or any specific information about my 17 Explorer. Just some generic information and reference to SYNC 3 which I do not have. And I get same result for my 2005...

I used JB Weld epoxy. The right side split on me with seemingly little pressure.

My SYNC Software Update History on owner.ford.com is back to being correct again. It shows the version 5.10 (that vehicle was delivered with) and the version 5.11 that I installed. I guess it was temporary.

On my FordPass app under the "guides" section , "destinations" sub-menu, it says SmartLink was discontinued 3/14/19.
