Hello Matt, can you explain what you mean by "the ability to have remote start is built into the vehicle"? Does this mean that remote start is there in the 2016 PIU but not turned on?

Hmm, that has way more parts than my current PIU center console. Also, it has a USB and AC vents for the back. The 2016 Ford Explorer PIU does not have any AC for the rear.

Hello, I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer PIU and it came with only one regular key (with a separate remote attached as in the picture below) My question is: is it possible to have the regular key replaced with one of the newer key fob (also shown below)?
